I am a qualified funeral celebrant helping families across South and West Yorkshire.
I work with empathy, sincerity and professionalism to create ceremonies that truly reflect the life being honoured. I take the time to listen carefully to each family so that I can weave their loved one’s story into a heartfelt goodbye.
My services are elegantly written and my delivery style is warm and engaging.
I ensure that families feel supported and funeral directors know the service is in safe hands.
ABOUT ME
My Background
Before training as a celebrant, I was a funeral director and have long supported grieving families at the hardest times of life. Importantly though, I've lost people I love along the way and I know how important it is to make sure that every farewell is as close to perfect as can be. After all, we only get one opportunity. Let's make sure it is right.
My Approach
I believe every service should be unique to each person. As a celebrant, my role is to celebrate life, so I spend as much time with a family as needed, learning about the things that made their loved one tick, the kind of person they were, and the life they lived.
My Process
I make many notes when meeting a family and then use them to write a service just for them. A full draft is sent to the client in advance to make sure that every story is told as they want to hear it and every detail is just right.
